Nutrish and Delish Bowls – Yogurt + Protein + Fruit

If you are looking for a delightful meal or snack with a sweet taste, THIS IS IT. I’m certainly not the first person to discover this combo, but it is just so good I had to share it, in case you have yet to try it out!

Get your favorite bowl out of the cabinets and add some of your favorite plain greek yogurt + a scoop of your favorite vanilla-flavored protein powder. Stir to combine, and thin it out to your liking with a milk, soy or nut beverage (to do this, pour in just a little of the liquid and stir, add a little more liquid and stir, repeating until you get a consistency you like). Then add some fresh washed berries, stir to coat and dig in! I am sorry there isn’t a “before” photo here, but at least I thought to snap one with all the ingredients I used to make this particular bowl. This one makes a great breakfast or dessert, though I’ve also had it for lunch, as a post-workout recovery meal, and an afternoon snack. It would probably be great for dinner, too!

The yogurt-protein-fruit bowl is something you can play with. Use different yogurt consistencies, different protein flavors, vary the liquids and fruit. For example, mix the yogurt with chocolate protein powder + a spoobful of PB2 + almond milk + half a sliced banana. Choose liquids and yogurts that fit your nutritional goals AND your tastebuds.
